* E85 with stock fuel system: Tuning for e85 on the stock fuel system will limit the maximum airflow to match the limit of the fuel system, thus limiting the overall power of the vehicle. The addition of bolt-on modification is not likely to increase power because the vehicle will still be limited airflow-wise (to match the limit of the fuel system). If you are looking to maximize the potential of your setup on the stock fuel system, please purchase an e50 tune.
** E85 with aftermarket fuel system: Requires proper capacity aftermarket fuel system to match the maximum airflow potential for your setup. If the fuel system is not properly sized, ethanol content may need to be reduced to match the maximum potential of your setup. Please contact sales@tunedbyzfgracing.com with additional questions or recommendations.
FUEL
-
All of our tunes are sold per fuel type-- the fuel type you select when purchasing your tune is the minimum octane you should run in the vehicle once the tune is loaded.
-
If you’d like to run more than one fuel type, you will need to purchase additional tunes for each additional fuel type, or you can flash back to your stock tune should unexpected situations arise (see below).
-
While there are safeties enabled should you accidentally use the wrong fuel type, it is not recommended to intentionally run a fuel with a lower octane rating than your selection.
