How does tuning impact drive modes?

Drive mode behavior depends on the vehicle platform and the tuning option selected.

For vehicles equipped with DMS™ (Drive Mode Specific) Tuning, individual drive modes can be calibrated differently. This allows features such as separate power levels, throttle response, transmission behavior, boost targets, and other tuning characteristics to be assigned to different drive modes.

For vehicles using a Standard Tune, the calibration is generally applied consistently across all drive modes, while the factory drive mode functionality itself remains intact unless otherwise specified.
