cp-e™ αIntake™ Intake Kit for 2018 - 2022 Ford F-150 3.5L / 2017 - 2019 Raptor 3.5L
- Fully sealed custom designed airbox using factory ram air
- Full 4.00” mandrel bent tube
- Perfect OEM fitment
- No power loss in lower RPMs
- Available powder coated in Satin Black
- Made in the U.S.A.
- LIFETIME Warranty
The cp-e intake offers a full 4.00” mandrel bent tube. Welded onto the tube are a CNC-lathed port for the PCV system, a CNC-milled MAP bung, and a laser cut support bracket. Includes clear plexi-glass window (ships with orange peel-off protective coating). The intake tube then attaches to the air box through a 5-ply silicone elbow and a CNC-lathed aluminum bellmouth. This velocity stack bellmouth smoothly compresses the air to provide a minimal amount of energy loss which translates to a higher air speed through the tube. We include a 4.00” air filter specially designed to give the most free flowing air flow possible. Additionally this comes with your choice between Dflow™ (dry filter) or SynOil™ (oiled filter).
Manufacturer's Product Description:
The F-150 3.5L EcoBoost is a well-rounded car in just about every aspect, and the intake system is too. The stock intake system is designed well, and the community sees that. Still cp-e® felt that they could take the good & the bad from the stock system, and make it even better. After a long engineering process, cp-e® is proud to release the Raptor EcoBoost Intake.

Part of what makes the stock intake system well-rounded is the great design of the stock box. It brings in cool air efficiently and isolates the filter from the hot air in the engine bay. Where the stock box lacks is where the cp-e® aIntake shines above all. The aIntake box is laser cut and CNC-bent 18-gauge stainless steel. Stainless steel is great for this application for not only its resistance to corrosion, but also its thermal properties allow the interior of the box to stay cool, even when the box itself heats up. The box utilizes both stock fresh air ducts and also sucks up cool fresh air from the wheel well. The box is topped off by clear plexi glass to seal the filter from the heat, providing a sweet view and easy access to the filter. Lastly, the box easily mounts in the stock location with the laser cut brackets and CNC-lathed mounting feet.
IC-TB Fitment
We cannot guarantee fitment with the use of any product that moves the location of the intercooler outlet or throttle body. This includes but is not limited to throttle body spacers, port injection spacers, and aftermarket intake manifolds.

Product Function & Benefits
Upgraded Intakes draw a larger volume of cool air from outside the engine bay than stock intakes. They are especially beneficial for turbocharged engines for two primary reasons: increased volume of air at intake and decreased intake air temperature.
Increased Volume of Air at Intake: The turbocharger's ability to "boost" is dependent on airflow from the intake. With increased air flow, the turbocharger can compress more air into the engine (if the air is cool). This results in higher boost pressure, enhancing power output and overall engine performance. A steady and ample supply of air to the turbocharger also allows it to spool up faster and deliver boost more quickly.
Decreased Intake Air Temperature: Turbochargers have to work harder to compress hot air than cold air. This impacts turbocharger efficiency. When intake air temperatures are lower, the turbocharger can compress more air into the engine, resulting in higher boost pressure and increased power output. High intake air temperatures can increase the risk of detonation (knocking), which can damage the engine. To prevent damage, the engine management system may reduce boost pressure or adjust the ignition timing, leading to a decrease in performance. This is called a "safety."
Tune-Related Impact & Tuner Recommendation
Recommended vs Required:
• Upgrading the intake(s) is not required for tuning. However, it is strongly recommended to maximize and increase gains.
• This modification will support gains from tuning and may be required for big / upgraded turbo builds.
• Upgraded intakes do not require a tune.
• Adding an intake to a tuned vehicle does not require a tune update.
On most platforms we support, there are two upgradable intake types: Cold Air and Ram Air. Initially, a Cold Air Intake will provide greater gains than a RAM Air Intake, but we recommend upgrading both if possible.
