Custom tuning files and services are non-refundable and non-transferable! You may not use your custom tuning file on any other vehicle or transfer our service, used or unused to any other customer.

WARNING: This is a Competition Use ONLY Product manufactured and sold for installation on vehicles to be used solely for competition motorsports, which, once such product is installed, may never be used, or registered or licensed for use upon a public road or highway. Any other use, including recreational off-road use, may be in violation of local, state, and Federal laws. ZFG Racing LLC does not implicitly or explicitly confirm the legality of using any products it sells on public roads; that is entirely the responsibility of the consumer. If a Competition Use Only Products is installed on a vehicle and that vehicle is used on a public road or highway, it may be considered in violation of the Clean Air Act and personally subject to substantial civil penalties.
Device Options
Our tunes can be purchased as a "tuning package" that includes everything you need to get started (Device + Credits + Tune) by selecting “Add RTD w/4 credits” from the device menu. *Please note that the "tune only” option does not include credits. You will need to purchase credits separately if you already have a compatible device (link to purchase additional credits).
RTD vs MPVI
An RTD is the right choice for most customers. An RTD will provide every function you need to complete and maintain your tune at the same level as our other device offering (the MPVI). The MPVI would be appropriate if you planned to write your own tunes, but is otherwise the same as the RTD.Fuel Type
- All of our tunes are sold per fuel type-- the fuel type you select when purchasing your tune is the minimum octane you should run in the vehicle once the tune is loaded.

The maximum ethanol content of each vehicles stock fuel system varies. Please review the "FUEL TYPE" tab under "Tune Information" for your platform to review maximum ethanol content, or contact us via email.

If you’d like to run more than one fuel type, you will need to purchase additional tunes for each additional fuel type, or you can flash back to your stock tune should unexpected situations arise (see below).

While there are safeties enabled should you accidentally use the wrong fuel type, it is not recommended to intentionally run a fuel with a lower octane rating than your selection.
Tuning Goal
Think of these as a starting point for your tune.
Each goal will produce different power levels, pedal sensitivity, transmission characteristics, and overall driving feel. If you are purchasing a DMS Tune for a Ford Explorer or Lincoln Aviator, please write "DMS" in the Tuning Goal Box (you will select tuning goals for each drive mode after purchase).-
Tow = Slight HP increase, intended for towing

Daily Driver = Moderate HP increase + refine stock ECU and Transmission

Performance = large HP increase + enhance mods + faster, firmer shifts

Race = Max HP increase + advanced mods + fastest, firmest shifts

- The number of credits required depends on your specific year/make/model. Please click here to review HP tuners credit requirements.
- Credits are used to unlock or "license" your car on an HP tuners device. Once credits have been applied, you can flash the ECU an unlimited amount of times with the same device. See Credits 101 from HP Tuners for more information.
- You will not need additional credits for additional tunes, (Assuming that you are using the same device as you used to flash your initial tune).
Already have an HP Tuners Device?
"Tune Only" does not include credits.
