XDI‑i001‑50 Direct Injection Injector Upgrade – Gen 1 3.5L EcoBoost (2010–2016)
The XDI‑i001‑50 direct injection (DI) injector upgrade is designed for 1st generation 3.5L EcoBoost engines (2010–2016), offering a significant increase in fuel flow capacity compared to factory injectors. This upgrade is ideal for higher power goals and ethanol‑blended fuel setups on the Gen 1 EcoBoost platform.
A high‑pressure fuel pump upgrade is required when running upgraded injectors on Gen 1 EcoBoost engines. With proper supporting fuel system upgrades and calibration, these injectors support running ethanol content greater than E50.

- Each injector is individually tested at 100 bar and 200 bar using OEM‑grade equipment at XDI’s facility
- Injectors are flow‑matched to within ±1% at both pressure levels for consistent fueling and reliability
- ~2000cc equivalent flow, approximately 50% greater flow than stock injectors
- OEM spray pattern for effective atomization
- OEM‑like idle characteristics for smooth, reliable operation
