INITIAL TUNE

Platform Support

ZFGR Custom Tuning is available for all trim levels of this platform. This page is specific to the 2.7L Ford Bronco including: Big Bend, Black Diamond, Heritage Edition, Outer Banks, Badlands, Everglades, Wildtrak, and Heritage Limited Edition. Tuning is also available for the 2022+ 3.0L Bronco Raptor.

REMOTE TUNING

Get an HP Tuners RTD (Remote Tuning Device) with your ZFG Tuning Package for a seamless, laptop-free tuning experience.

HP Tuners is the company who manufacturers the tools ZFG Racing uses to send custom tunes to your vehicle. These devices let you flash your car’s computer with performance upgrades remotely.

You'll use the TDN (Tune Delivery Network) App to manage tuning:

Flash between stock and custom tunes
Send and receive tune files
Record and share data logs
Read and clear DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes)

EXPECTED GAINS

Gains will be dependent upon the fuel type you select. ZFGR Custom Tunes for 93 Octane provide gains of up to 75 WHP & 75 ft-lbs with no supporting modifications required.

This platform also supports full e85 on the stock fuel system with a tune; running full e85 with a Performance goal will provide gains of up to 100…

Gains will be dependent upon the fuel type you select. A ZFGR Custom Tune for 93 Octane with a performance goal will provide gains of up to 75 HP with no other modifications. An e50 tune will provide gains up to 100 HP.

Single-goal

STANDARD TUNES

Provides a traditional custom tune that calibrates the vehicle according to one tuning goal: Daily Driver, Performance, Race, or Tow.

Tuning goals for Standard Tunes are made at time of purchase.

Towing should only be done on the stock tune or with a Towing Tune (always in Tow Mode).

FUEL TYPES

Our tunes support one fuel type each. Fuel type options are as follows:

Auto-Octane: All Pump Gas (87-93, up to e30)

91 Octane: 91+ Octane (91-93, up to e30)

93 Octane: 93+ Octane (93 only, up to e30)

e50: 40-60% ethanol blend (no pump gas)

e85*: e85 (70-90% ethanol content)** Written for Competition Use Only, and may not be supported by the stock fuel system.

If you would like to run more than one fuel type from above, you can purchase an additional tune or flash back to your stock tune.

TUNING GOALS

A "Tuning Goal" is the starting point for your tune. The Tuning Goal will provide our tuner with an idea of how to begin writing your tune, and will loosely guide the revisions and adjustments made throughout the tuning process. You can always request adjustments and are not "locked in" to your initial selection(s).

Standard Tunes support one Tuning Goal each, which is selected at time of purchase:

TOW - Slight HP increase, torque and gear management, intended for towing (towing should still be done in tow mode)
DAILY DRIVER - Moderate HP increase, refine/improve stock tune
PERFORMANCE - Large HP increase, enhance mods, faster and firmer shifts than Daily Driver or Stock, but not race-focused
RACE - Max HP increase, advanced mods, advanced torque management, fastest and firmest shifts

Please Note:

For all tunes with a goal of TOW, we recommend providing details about the size, weight, and type of trailer(s) you tow at time of purchase. Our tuner may request that you complete data logs with the trailer(s) attached at various points throughout the tuning process.
